The Woodpeckers Precision Square Family is available in sizes ranging from 6 inches to 26 inches. The 641 and 851 squares feature a one-piece central core with offset cheeks, creating a shoulder that allows the squares to rest on the edge of the stock without falling. The central core is notched, enabling marking all the way to the edge referenced by the offset cheeks. These squares make ideal "apron pocket" companions, and their wide, stable base keeps them upright when checking assemblies.

The 1281R square has a one-piece square core with sandwiching cheeks that form a comfortable grip and a shoulder to keep the square flat on the work without assistance. The finger slot provides a convenient grip when checking board ends, and the lip keeps the square on the edge of the workpiece without the need for an extra hand.

For larger projects, the 1812 and 2616 squares offer accurate sizing for checking cabinet assemblies. The central core notch allows marking all the way to the edge referenced by the offset cheeks, and these squares make squaring up an MFT (Multifunction Table) a simple task. They can also be used to square up a straight edge, guiding a circular saw for results rivaling a table saw.

Regardless of size, all Woodpeckers Precision Squares are manufactured with precision. The process begins with a solid piece of cast aluminum tool plate, which is carefully machined on state-of-the-art CNC equipment to ensure accuracy within 0.001 inch along the full length of the tool. The two precision-machined aluminum cheeks are then fitted to the handle with stainless steel dowel pins, ensuring bulletproof rigidity and perfect alignment.

These squares offer numerous features, including a shoulder on the inside edge of the handle to allow laying the square flat on the work, a thick base for easy upright positioning to check machinery setups, and a notch at the inside corner to "zero-out" layout lines. The measurement scales are laser-etched in 1/16th increments on both sides of the ruler, and each square comes with a wall-mountable case.
