Woodpeckers Woodworking Rules are designed to be straighter, heavier, flatter, and easier to handle than any others on the market. With an engraving tolerance of ±.004" total accumulated error, these rules are among the finest available for any workshop.

Machined from aircraft-grade aluminum and anodized for surface protection, the Woodworking Rules feature 30° beveled edges to reduce parallax error. The bright white laser-engraved scales provide excellent contrast against the red anodized surface. Finger grooves are machined into the middle of the body to help position the rule, and the backside has a relieved section in the middle to keep the edges lying perfectly flat on your work.

Different graduation layouts are available to meet specific needs. The most popular version has a left-to-right reading scale on one side and a centering scale on the other, with the "0" mark at the exact center and the scale running in both directions from that point. This makes it quick and easy to locate the center of a board and then lay out equal spacing from that point.

Another layout features a left-to-right scale on one side and a right-to-left scale on the other, which is perfect for measuring from a table saw rip fence to the blade. For users who work in both inch and metric measurements, a 49.5" model is available with a left-to-right inch scale on one side and a left-to-right metric scale on the other.

The ends of all the rules (except the 6" model) have a pair of precision-machined threaded holes, allowing the use of three clever accessories: a Hook Stop for a compact physical reference, a Protractor Head to turn the rule into a T-square and woodworking protractor, and a Rule Stop to clamp anywhere for quick and easy repetitive marking.

Woodpeckers Woodworking Rules are available in inch sizes of 6", 12", 24", 36", and 49-1/2", as well as metric sizes of 300mm, 600mm, 900mm, and 1200mm. Like all Woodpeckers tools, these rules are made in the USA.
