Introducing Woodpeckers Exact-90 Miter Gauge - A Miter Gauge Engineered to Deliver Precise, Square Cuts Every Time

Regardless of how cleverly engineered a table saw might be, the miter gauge often seems like an afterthought. The ones that come with new saws are typically barely usable, and most after-market miter gauges assume the miter slots in the tables are straight and uniform (spoiler alert: they're not). Recognizing this, our engineers set out to develop a new type of miter gauge – one that would reliably perform the one job woodworkers need most from it: delivering perfectly square cuts, regardless of how sloppy the machining of the miter slot.

The result is the Woodpeckers Exact-90 Miter Gauge, a miter gauge that cuts one angle and one angle only: 90 degrees. It is permanently calibrated to cut perfectly square every time.

The key to the Exact-90's precision is its patent-pending miter bar design. It features 5 specially-designed nylon leaf springs built into the edge of the miter bar, allowing the springs to adapt to either undersized or oversized miter slots with no adjustments needed.

But the Exact-90's innovations don't stop there. The fence houses an extension that slides out to take the flip stop all the way out to 45 inches, providing ample support for wide stock. And speaking of the flip stop, its new design lets you dial in the position of the flag with fingertip control.

To prevent the dreaded "flop" when working with wide stock, the Exact-90 includes our new patent-pending Flop Stop. Just drop it on top of your wide stock, lock it, and the stock will be supported by the fence, even when the miter gauge is off the table. No more catching the back fence on the front edge of your table and ruining your cut.

Like all Woodpecker products, the Exact-90 Miter Gauge is precisely machined and carefully inspected in our Strongsville, Ohio manufacturing facility. It's a miter gauge built to deliver consistent, reliable performance, no matter how imperfect the rest of your shop equipment might be.
