The Woodpeckers Fat Head Hook Rule features a positive physical reference that locates the zero point of the rule exactly at the edge of the stock. It is the only hook rule on the market where the rule lies flat, unlike the others that require the user to hold the rule upright. This feature eliminates the need to fumble with aligning the end of the rule to the edge of the stock, as the Fat Head stop ensures that the rule is calibrated perfectly with the primary edge, even if the stock has a round-over on the edge.

The stainless-steel blade of the Fat Head Hook Rule has a carefully finished low-glare satin finish, and the graduations are laser-engraved to a tolerance of ±.004" total accumulated error. At just 1/32" thick, the rule eliminates parallax error. The stop, machined from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum on state-of-the-art CNC milling centers, is designed to position the stop exactly on the zero point of the rule. The 5/16" thick, 3" wide head provides a positive reference to the material.

The Fat Head Hook Rule is available in three lengths: 6", 12", and 18" (150mm, 300mm, and 450mm), with your choice of inch, metric, or a combo of both graduations. Full sets include the Fat Head Hook Rule Rack-It, a wall-mountable storage solution to keep the rules in plain sight and ready to use.
