Machined to a tolerance of .0015" per foot, the SERX is perfect for checking the flatness of a table saw, ensuring the parallelism of jointer tables, setting up a router table, and addressing other machinery alignment tasks.

Beyond its use for machinery checks, the SERX also serves as a high-quality layout tool. The graduated edge is beveled at 30° to bring the markings close to the surface of the workpiece. Woodpeckers holds the engraving to a tolerance of ±.004" total accumulated error over the full length of the scale.
