Paolini Pocket Rule with Rack-It

The most unique feature of Paolini Pocket Rules that sets them apart from all others is the stop that slides up and down the length of the ruler. This allows users to lock it in place to make repetitive measurements on multiple boards. Additionally, there is a fine notch in the end of the rule, enabling it to be used as an instant marking gauge - simply set the stop, place a pencil in the notch, and you have a ready-to-use marking tool.

When vertical measurement is required, the stop can be slid off the end and inserted into the cut-out on the ruler, effectively turning the rule into a perfect stand to keep it upright while both hands are free to adjust the height of a router bit, saw blade or dado stack, all while referencing the easy-to-read scale engraved on the end of the rule.

The standard Paolini Pocket Rule model features 1/16" and 1/32" scales on both sides, aligned so that if the finer scale is needed, the user can simply flip the rule over. The same principle applies to the end scale - simply flip it over to view finer or coarser graduations, a welcome feature in less-than-ideal shop lighting or for those with diminished eyesight.

Paolini Pocket Rules are available in two material choices - anodized "Woodpecker Red" aluminum or stainless steel - and three graduation options: inch-only, metric-only or inch-metric combo. The bright white laser-engraved scales on the anodized aluminum make it one of the easiest-to-read rules on the market, while the stainless steel version offers a thinner 1/16" profile. Both are milled to a precise 1-inch width.

As a set, the Woodpeckers Paolini Pocket Rules include a 6-inch, 8-inch and 12-inch rule, along with three sliding stops and a Rack-It wall-mountable storage system. The stainless steel rules are 1" wide and 1/16" thick, with laser-engraved scales in 1/16" and 1/32" graduations, as well as the vertical end scale on both sides.

The included sliding stop moves effortlessly along the rule, allowing users to lock it in place for repetitive measurements. When not in use, the stop can be removed and inserted into the cut-out on the rule to keep it upright, a feature that proves invaluable when dialing in the height of router bits, saw blades or dado stacks.
