The Woodpeckers Pocket T-Squares are designed to simplify joinery layout and deliver exceptional accuracy. Whether you're laying out mortises, tenons, and rabbets, or marking the location of hinges and other cabinet hardware, these innovative tools ensure the precision you need. Laying out lines at exact locations is as simple as putting your pencil in the right hole and sliding along the work piece edge.

These Pocket T-Squares are milled from a single, solid billet of aluminum, ensuring uncompromising rigidity. A broad, precisely machined lip registers solidly along your reference edge. Both graduated edges are beveled to minimize parallax viewing error and get the graduations right down to your stock, where they belong. The blades are precision drilled with a staggered series of holes, 1/32nd of an inch apart, with each hole measuring 1mm in diameter—just right to fit the tip of a .7mm or .9mm mechanical pencil. Simply drop the point of your pencil into the proper hole and glide along, guided by the edge of your stock.

For those who prefer metric measurements, we offer the same tool with the holes drilled at precise 1mm spacing. With either calibration, the staggered layout of the guide holes maintains the integrity of the square's body and makes it easy to select the proper measurement.

The Pocket T-Squares are available in lengths of 3", 6", and 8" with 1/32" graduations and guide holes, as well as 75mm, 150mm, and 200mm metric versions with 1mm graduations and guide holes. The 3-inch and 75mm models are perfect for joinery layout and fit conveniently in your shirt or jeans pocket, while the longer models provide more reach for hardware placement and general layout work, yet are still easy to carry around.

Each Pocket T-Square is precisely machined and carefully inspected in our Strongsville, Ohio manufacturing facility. These innovative tools allow you to scribe parallel to the edge of your stock with scribing guides on 1/32" centers (1mm for metric), draw perpendicular layout lines with the accurate square reference, and deliver fast and precise joinery layout. The 3" Pocket T-Square is the perfect pocket companion for joinery work, and the Pocket T-Square sets come with a Rack-It storage mount to keep your new tools in plain sight.
