Woodpeckers, a manufacturer of high-quality woodworking tools, was established in 1988. The company's primary focus has always been on providing exceptional tools for the woodworking community. Starting with just a few routers, Woodpeckers has since expanded its product line to include a wide range of router lifts, router fences, measuring and layout tools, as well as a variety of useful clamping accessories. The company takes pride in the fact that its tools are proudly made in the U.S.A., with all machining, engraving, assembly, and packing done in-house at their facility in Strongsville, Ohio, just south of Cleveland.

One of Woodpeckers' most acclaimed products is the Precision T-Square, which makes it easier than ever to strike lines parallel to the edge of your stock. The beam of the T-Square features a lip that rests on the top surface of your stock, preventing the tool from rolling like many traditional T-Squares. The blade is precision-machined with scribing guides spaced every sixteenth-inch down its length, allowing you to simply drop in the point of a mechanical pencil and scribe a perfectly parallel line by holding the pencil in one hand and sliding the T-Square with the other.

In addition to the scribing guides, the T-Square also features 1/4" diameter holes on 1" centers, which are ideal for laying out shelf pin locations. The laser-engraved aluminum blade is matched to a precision-machined beam, and the two critical components are secured together with either 4 or 6 stainless steel screws, depending on the blade length. This design, with a slight offset between the holes in the blade and the threads in the beam, puts the two under constant tension, delivering an angular precision of ±.02 degrees (±.004" per foot).

The beam's two support lips prevent tipping and rolling, ensuring a solid, stable base for accurate marking. The edges of the blade are beveled at 30 degrees, bringing the laser-engraved scale markings right down next to your stock and eliminating parallax error. The white engraving on the "Woodpeckers Red" anodized finish provides excellent contrast, even in poor lighting conditions.

Woodpeckers offers four versions of their Precision T-Square: 12", 24", 600mm, and 32". The 12" size is ideal for work with solid lumber and smaller cabinet parts, while the larger sizes are better suited for sheet goods, larger cabinet parts, entertainment centers, and bookcases.

Each Woodpeckers T-Square is delivered with a wall-mountable Rack-It for convenient storage and easy access, ensuring the tool is always ready for the next project.
